On 05 Apri, 2006 KMT Community Development, Inc. was the primary sponsor of the First Annual African American History Challenge. Held at Woolfolk Boys and Girls Club in Atlanta, this event brought middle school-aged students from across Atlanta together to demonstrate their knowledge of African and African American history in a competitive environment. The winning club was Harland Boys and Girls Club. They barely edged out Carver in an exciting overtime match.
